25KChallenge Week 2 Update

I came into this challenge ready to do amazing things, do everything right that I’ve done wrong in past challenges, and be proud of the pictures I submit in the end. But nothing ever goes the way you planned.

No need to get into it, but a whole lot has happened since this challenge started, and all my plans have been thrown for a loop.

I’ve tried to keep up on what I can, which it turns out if everything but the gym. It happens, but usually when I start a new gym routine, the “it” that happens is a tweaked muscle or joint, or I’ve got to travel a bunch, and can’t really lift like I planned.

The only thing that disappoints me is that I didn’t figure out a way to push myself to at least get a workout in around the house while I couldn’t make it to the gym.

All things considered, I still can’t complain with where I am. My supplementation and intermittent fasting have kept my weight and body fat roughly stable, and I’ve been happy with what I see in the mirror.

I’m hopeful that this week things can level out and I’ll be able to get back to the weights. The remaining ten weeks is plenty of time to make a huge impact, and I still plan to.
